PhD Day 2024:”Beyond the Thesis: Bridging Academia and Industry”
On May 31st, our CEO, Meritxell Teixidó, participated in PhD Day 2024, themed “Beyond the Thesis: Bridging Academia and Industry” at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona. Organized by the PhD student community, the event welcomed the entire research community.
The event began with a welcome by Elías Campo, Director of Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS). This was followed by a presentation from our CEO, Meritxell Teixidó, and Xavier Rovira Clavé, Junior Group Leader at Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), on the importance of knowledge transfer in research.
A day full of stimulating workshops and panel discussions on innovation, sustainability, and scientific communication.
Congratulations to the organizers for fostering this initiative aimed at promoting the professional development and social interaction of researchers.
