Andrés Morales La Madrid – Meet the Team

Recently, a new member joined our team. We’re so grateful to have such an awesome crew!! It’s a pleasure to introduce one of our new team members, Andrés Morales La Madrid, Gate2Brain’s new Chief Medical Officer.

Andrés Morales La Madrid is a Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist and current Chief Medical Officer at Gate2Brain. Medicine degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, pediatrician at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona, oncologist, hematologist and pediatric transplant specialist through the University of Chicago/Comer Children’s Hospital and neuro-oncologist pediatrician through Harvard University/Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He also has a Master’s Degree in health management from the Universitat de Barcelona.

✅ At Gate2Brain, his responsibility encompasses taking the discoveries made by Gate2Brain from the bench/laboratory to the bedside.

✅ What are his hobbies and interests?
His hobbies are reading, travelling, sports, global health and wellbeing.

✅ What does he like about the Gate2Brain project?
He considers G2B to be a group of remarkable individuals. Not only outstanding scientists and entrepreneurs, but, most importantly, people with big hearts who genuinely care about improving the lives of others in need.

He confesses that the older he gets, the easier it is for him to cry when he witnesses something emotional
