Gate2Brain’s retreat 2022

Gate2Brain’s retreat  – 2nd anniversary.

Gate2Brain turned two years old last July after deciding to go out into the world in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic. Two years in which work and videoconferences filled our days. But October came so that we could have our long-awaited meeting. An opportunity to gather all the people who made Gate2Brain possible: founders, advisors, team, investors, institutions, actually Gate2Brain’s family.

Some of us were able to meet in person, others attended virtually. We were able to share about Gate2Brain’s current scientific status and next steps, and tackled challenges and opportunities with manual thinking.

But it wasn’t all work, no way!! There were plenty of moments of sharing and discovery. We were in the idyllic town of Santes Creus, Tarragona. We strolled through its vineyards, visit its monastery, enlivened with a private organ concert, and we enjoyed the typical cuisine from the region. But above all, we enjoyed sharing these moments among Gate2Brain’s family.

For Gate2Brain’s anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better gift than this gathering. We hope this will be the first of others to come.
