Collaboration with the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina López-Neyra (IPBLN)

We are pleased to announce that we have strengthened the collaboration that we have had for some time with Dr. Macarena Sanchez from the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina López-Neyra (IPBLN) in Granada, belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

Thanks to a Torres Quevedo Postdoctoral contract granted by the State Research Agency, Gate2Brain has now reinforced this cooperation by enrolling Marina Plaza as Gate2Brain’s Chemist Research Scientist. This appointment aims to further explore the application of Gate2Brain’s shuttles for the transport of other type of drug modalities.

It is an immense honor for Gate2Brain to have Marina on board as a researcher, helping us overcome new barriers and bring other drug modalities to the brain. We are thrilled to have this scientific satellite of Gate2Brain in Granada
