Gate2Brain CEO Meritxell Teixidó Featured in the EIC’s Women Leading Innovation Campaign
The European Innovation Council (EIC) has featured Meritxell Teixidó, CEO and co-founder of Gate2Brain, in its Women Leading Innovation campaign, which showcases six founders participating in the EIC Women Leadership Programme.
Published through the EIC Community, the European Women in VC Newsletter and the EIC’s official LinkedIn channel, the campaign brings together six women founders, sharing their experiences of leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Meritxell’s profile traces her transition from academic research to entrepreneurship, highlighting her decision to co-found Gate2Brain after more than 15 years of peptide research at IRB Barcelona. Gate2Brain has grown from a scientific spin-off into a biotechnology company advancing peptide-based drug delivery solutions for the central nervous system.
We thank the European Innovation Council and the EIC Women Leadership Programme for this recognition and for their continued commitment to raising the visibility of women entrepreneurs across Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
